Freerange British chicken and wild mushroom in a creamy white sauce, encased in shortcrust pastry with a puff pastry lid.

Served frozen, this pie can be stored in the freezer for up to one month. Defrost thoroughly before cooking. To cook, heat in an oven at 180 degrees for approximately 20 minutes until the pastry is golden and the filling is warm throughout.

Bigger and more fulsome than your average pie, Lowsonford Pies are roughly 260gms each.

For the pastry - Flour (wheat), vegetable oils and fats (palm), butter, water, salt, emulsifier (E471), egg.

May contain traces of soybeans, sesame seeds, hazelnuts, almonds, pecan nuts.

For the filling - Free range British chicken (29%), button mushrooms (7%), double cream, onion, butter, white wine, cheddar cheese (milk), wild mushrooms (1%), cornflour, garlic, mixed herbs, English mustard.
